New invented high efficient JET marine and aircraft propulsion systems

Rotojet™ is a radically new concept of  multy application technology, suitable for application in both watercraft and aircraft JET propulsion systems:

Jet Propeller
Patent pending
A propeller operates by generating a thrust to drive a body, such as an aircraft or boat, submarine, torpedo by applying a force to the fluid in which it operates in order to change the momentum of the fluid in the direction opposite to that in which it is desired to drive the body. Each blade of the propeller, screw etc. is inclined to the desired direction of thrust, so that, as it rotates through the fluid, the normal reaction force has a component parallel to the direction of drive, the orientation being set to ensure that this force tends to push the fluid in a direction opposite to the desired direction of travel. Under Newton's first law, action and reaction are equal and opposite, and hence the fluid applies an equal and opposite force to the screw, propeller, etc. which reaction force is transmitted to the body and in turn drives the body through the fluid.

Propeller blades are normally designed according to their use, and airplane blades are different from water propeller blades, and there are many variations in each. Most aircraft propeller have 2-4 blades and watercraft propulsion systems have 3 and more blades.

This conventional configuration has, however, a number of disadvantages. The shape of the blades tends to generate lift, and the resulting pressure differences can lead to early cavitations. Also, the twist or skew on a typical blade, which results in a variation in pitch along the blade, makes the propeller more complicated and hence more expensive to produce. Whilst attempts have been made over the years to reduce the impact of these drawbacks and also to improve efficiency, reduce cavitation etc of propellers, any improvements that have been achieved have been relatively small, and involved minor variations in blade shape, twist, size and taper without changing the underlying design of the marine screw and aircraft propellers.

Aim of the invention:
By radical new design to attain high efficiency of an aircraft and watercraft propellers and air fan as well.
To reduce of energy consumption of propeller propulsion systems.
To reduce of green hoses gases emission of propeller propulsion systems.

Approaches to find a solution:
• To convert radial centrifugal vortex fluid motion caused by propeller rotating into tangential tip jet stream behind the blade tip
• To avoid inductive tip energy loses caused by leaking stream from a pressure surface blade side to a negative pressure blade surface side of the blade periphery.

Solution:
According to the present disclosure, there is provided a JET propeller comprising a shaft having a plurality of blades extending therefrom, each blade having a root, a periphery, a first blade portion extending between said root and said periphery and a second blade portion extending between the periphery of the first blade portion and blade tip. The first blade portion has apertures at its periphery and second blade portion is rigidly fastened to the periphery of the first blade portion and said second blade portion is oriented parallel to the propeller shaft.

An oval rotational body (e.g. ellipsoid) with same axis of rotation as shaft axis of rotation is mounted behind the propeller.

Applications

Invented JET propeller is applicable in very brad range of river, marine and air vehicles. For example - ships and boat propulsion system, submarines, torpedoes, airplanes, helicopters, balloons e.t.c..

It should be noted that the disclosure is not limited to the embodiment described and illustrated as examples. A large variety of modifications have been described and more are part of the knowledge of the person skilled in the art. These and further modifications as well as any replacement by technical equivalents may be added to the description, without leaving the scope of the protection of the disclosure and of the present patent.
