Rotojet™ is a radically new concept of multy application technology, suitable for application in both vertical and horizontal axis direct drive or geared turbine generators:
ROTOJET ™ universal turbine blades are based on a revolutionary concept, the result of many years of patent's development.
It was the world’s first low noise and nature friendly commercial scale turbines to generate electricity from low velocity turbulent wind and the first to be used in wind farm projects, hybrid PV-wind farm and systems as well as for urban and small scale power generation- micro generation.
The revolutionary new concept allows the system to achieve the following beneficiary results:
Lift / Jet propeller ROTOJET ™ turbine blades:
Very good start torque. Best performing at low and moderate wind speed.
Operated at both low and very high or turbulent winds – ideal for urban application.
Thanks to it the turbine efficiency increases up to 2 times the output capacity for both lift and drag devices on the vertical, inclined and horizontal axis hydro / wind rotors of axial and cross flow rotors.
All JET augmented turbines are self starting machines at very low flow stream and have significantly decreased noise pollution.
Through extensive research has been discovered that curved endplate winglet at the tip of a finite blade/wing can reduce the spanwise flow and thereby reduce the induced drag. Unfortunately, to be effective, the endplate must be so large that the increase in vetted area drag far outweighs any induced drag reduction.
That is why we have developed a radical new tip blade solution simultaneously reducing the induced tip drag and increasing rotational torque of the blade tip. We upgraded blade tip by jet channels formed at the pressure (upwind) side of the tip wing profile. The jet channels are forming a jet stream. The jet stream creates a tip jet force Ftjet. The additional jet torque equals the following formula:
R x Ftjet , where R is the rotor radius.
The additional jet torque created from the air passing through the jet channel increases overall turbine efficiency. The blade tip with jet channels we named JET TIP.
The JET TIP is a successfully applicable upgrade of both drags and lift propeller turbine. It has been used as a universal solution for wind and water stream applications on both vertical and horizontal blades.

Space-efficient propeller turbine concepts
Based on this concepts, smaller in size turbine could generate more watts for a given swept-area, no matter by using a diffuser, or 3D rotors.
3D Rotojet™ is a new space-efficient technology of flow energy extraction by wind and hydrokinetic propeller turbines. The main advantages of 3D JET rotor vs. one plane (2D) JET rotor are summarized below:
Diffuser augmented turbine is a well known space-efficient technology of flow energy extraction by wind and hydrokinetic propeller turbines.
The main difficulty of the known diffuser augmented turbines is that requires long, heavy and costly diffuser in wake turbine flow. But, in the worst case, a given shroud could increase power factor Cp by 1 or 100% (over 2 times in comparison with non shrouded machines). Diffuser augmented turbine cost 80-100% more in price as well as logistics, whereas a shroud could be fabricated and added onto a given turbine at less than 30% of those costs. Rotojet™ concept of both 2D and 3D rotors is cost effective because JET augmented rotors requires about two times shorter diffusers and power factor is increased about 2.5 times in comparison with non shrouded non JET rotors.
