Patented technology related to air laying of fibber-optic cables over power wires
Patented clamps for anchoring conductors of overhead power transmission lines and fibber-optic cables of communication lines
Proposed
patented clamp designed for anchoring conductors of overhead power transmission
lines and fiber-optic cables of communication lines on supporting structures.
Technological invention relates to air laying of fiber-optic cables,
particularly, to devices for winding fiber-optic cable on carrying wire,
including devices for winding fiber-optic cable onto current-carrying wire or
overhead ground-wire cable of power line. Proposed device for winding fiber-optic
cable on carrying wire contains frame coupled with rotary drive found outside
the frame and made for rotation around carrying wire, and reel for winding fiber-optic
cable installed inside frame for rotation square to axis of rotation of frame.
With device moving along carrying wire, fiber-optic cable is wound off reel and
is wound on carrying wire at definite pitch along spiral. Reel is made in form
of two drums secured on common shaft symmetrically relative to carrying wire,
shaft being fastened by ends of frame from inner side. Fiber-optic cable is
wound on both drums and transitions of fiber-optic cable from one drum to the
other are provided so that angle between point of slipping of fiber-optic cable
from one drum and point of getting of fiber-optic cable onto other drum in
projection onto plane perpendicular to axis of rotation of reel is approximately
180 degrees. Inner walls of drums are provided with cutouts of definite form
with rounded off edges which provide smooth winding off of fiber-optic cable
when changing over from one drum to the other, and radius of curvature of fiber-optic
cable not less than critical radius of vending of fiber-optic cable. Tensioner
is used to maintain required tension of fiber-optic cable being wound on
carrying wire. To kill jerks of fiber-optic cable when changing over from one
drum to the other, spring jerk damper is used. To preclude rotation of rollers
through which drive rests on carrying wire, around carrying wire balancer is
used being attached to rotary drive.
EFFECT: provision of reliable and quick winding of fiber-optic cable
